Ginger root and lemon peel
Galloping along the sands
Glace bride in wedding blush
Perfumes blend for fragrant meal
Drumming rhythm through my hands
Bright head bowed in holy hush.
Lemon peel and ginger root
Sands a’galloped in my spring
Weddings blush for bridal night
Cardamom and bamboo shoot
Mind a’spaced in horse’s swing
Secrets quilted out of sight.
Fragrant meals with kitchen spice
Hands conducting rhythm-drums
Holy hush of billowed bride
Toss and bed on jasmine rice
Seaside memories become
Innocence she cannot hide.
Billowed beauty, maiden flush
Rhythm drumming blood demands
Glace bride in wedding blush
Kitchen spices, flavour wheels
