I skip from the leaf to the petals

As I blend with the murmurous bees

I slip in the notions by the folktales fed

And I harry you as I please.

Pixie led, you're pixie led

As sly ideas I seize

When I'm making merry inside your head

I ride on the pollen grains in the wind

As I smile from the shadowy trees

I bide in the shivers where the old one smiled

And I trouble you as I please.

When I'm on form and you're beguiled

I live in the depths of the hidden mind

When I wake you’ll pay my fees

I give native wickedness every chance

As I cast my spell a’breeze

You never can see me where I prance
