This
is a very brief novel, and one I'm quite pleased with. There isn't much
thriller-sci-fi about for nine year olds.

GOLD (1999)
Sequel
to SPIRAL STAIRS (see S page). Erin and the other colonists have been on the
planet Azuria for nearly a year. The crops are failing and it seems their
great adventure may come to a premature and ignominious end when the supply
ship comes. Erin, Cambria and Albia decide to go hiking. They are soon lost in
the mist, but Mimic, their inhuman friend, shows them a way to solve the
colony problems.
