Hallie finds a friend in an Internet Chat Room. Luna is great fun, unexpected and exciting. She lives right out in the Horsehead Nebula... or so she says. Chat with Luna is wonderful, but in the meantime Hallie has to deal with the strange and silent new girl, Mel.

This is loosely based on something that really happened to my son, James!

Baker misses out on a wild-life week because he has chickenpox. Rather unwisely, his aunt offers to make it up to him by taking him for a long weekend at Creature Cottage... It rains. In come the ants. And the millipedes. A thousand hairy legs leave Baker distinctly uneasy, but can he save his project from a dearth of wild-life?

Another one based on fact. This time it was me who met the millipedes and ants, at the writer's centre in Wagga Wagga.
