HOW DO I SUBMIT MY MANUSCRIPT FOR ASSESSMENT?

 

Everything is done by e-mail. You e-mail me with your manuscript or your query, and I respond in the same way. 

 

The address for sending your manuscript is sodgers@iinet.net.au 

You should send a manuscript by RTF (Rich Text Format) attachment. Please ensure the manuscript arrives in one piece, not in separate chapter attachments. The only exception is if the manuscript is over 75,000 words. In that case, send it in two pieces.

Do not send PDF, text boxes or anything with fancy formats.

The text should be plain TNR in size 12, and the ms should be double spaced.  It should be justified left. Don’t panic if you haven’t done this, but be aware it will take me extra time to format the ms properly before I can assess it.

You may send your manuscript by mail if you choose, but you will need to pay both lots of postage, and postal assessments take longer and cost more. Why? Because it is very much easier to read and edit onscreen. The Postal Address for this is “Affordable Assessments”, P.O. Box 90, Devonport, Tasmania, 7310, Australia.

Payment is made AFTER the assessment, by Australian money order, cheque made out to “Sally Odgers” or by Paypal.  A receipt will be sent on request. I do not accept direct deposit.
